D | Savin Hill starts with a journey down Cambridge Street past numerous cafes and restaurants into Lechmere and across the Charles River Dam into Boston. Passing North Station and Haymarket, the line then leads through Boston’s Financial District, past South Station, through the southern extent of the Fort Point Historic District then along the Fort Point Channel past the historic Gillette razor factory. From the Broadway T Station, the line proceeds down Dorchester Avenue through Andrew and Columbia Squares before ending at the Savin Hill MBTA Station in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
