F | Forest Hills begins as a one-mile connection to the “KSQ” sign at the corner of Main and Broadway in Kendall Square before crossing the Longfellow Bridge into Boston, through the Beacon Hill neighborhood and around the Public Garden. Passing the Park Plaza, the line then passes Back Bay Station (offering an alternative to G | Back Bay) on Columbus Avenue and joins the Southwest Corridor Linear Park at Ruggles Station, offering a car-free, limited access park-like journey for the final two miles, passing near the Samuel Adams Boston brewery, then arriving at Forest Hills Station.
